Debt Reduction.

We have helped hundreds of individuals and businesses avoid bankruptcy or lawsuits by contacting their creditors and negotiating payment plans and/or settlements. Because we maintain good communication with your creditors, they will often accept a substantial reduction on the amount you owe.

Creditor “Hold-Off," (or getting some "Breathing Room.") In most cases, we can hold your creditors off for a period of time, while you find a new job, or reorganize your business, or whatever else you may need to do to find a way out of your predicament.

Lawsuit Defense.

No one enjoys being sued, but it’s not the end of the world! You may have valid legal defenses that could save you a bundle of money. If not, there’s still usually plenty of room for negotiation.

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.

If you qualify to file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, you may be able to eliminate most, if not all of your debt. Most people who file a Chapter 7 are allowed to keep all of their property.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.

If you do not qualify for a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, then you can most likely file a Chapter 13, under which you will pay off all, or a portion of your debts over a three to five year period. This type of Bankruptcy will also allow you to stop a foreclosure of your real estate, and force the IRS to take an interest-free payment plan you can afford.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.

This process, known as “business reorganization,” can keep a struggling business alive, by holding off its creditors while it reorganizes its operations. It can also be used by an individual whose debt limit is too high for a Chapter 13.

Tax Assistance.

Many people who have fallen behind on their credit cards also owe back taxes, and sometimes haven’t filed tax returns for a few years. Our office can help you get your tax returns filed, help negotiate a payment plan with the IRS, or prepare an Offer-In-Compromise, which may reduce your tax debt substantially.

What sets us apart from other firms is that we offer both bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy solutions for those with too much debt. We help you choose the alternative that is best for you.

Loss Mitigation.

If you’re behind on mortgage payments, we might help keep you from losing your home through a foreclosure, through a loan modification or reinstatement plan. If you would rather be out from under the negative equity in your home, we might be able to help arrange a "short sale" or a “deed in lieu of foreclosure,” to minimize the negative effects of a foreclosure.
